Can you cut my carpet down?
We are happy to cut down the carpet to suit your needs, but it will incur an additional charge of £10 minimum adjustable at our discretion. Preferably, the carpet must be ready for us to edge when you deliver, although should you need assistance to adjust the size and shape of your carpet, an additional charge will apply, which our expert team will discuss with you.
Dropping my carpet off
Our vast Leighton Buzzard showroom and workshop has ample parking for free. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, the High Street is closed for the market, and you may need to use one of the local Pay-to-Park facilities, all within a 5 minute walk of our showroom. Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sun, there are over 50 free parking bays within the town centre to use.
How long will the service take?
We aim to complete your carpet edging within 1 to 2 weeks from drop off to collection, there are multiple circumstances that may extend the time from drop off to collection, for example cutting services, ordering in binding tapes, specific yarn requirements. Our team will advise you upon drop-off on the estimated timescale and will also notify you of any changes to scheduling.
Our policy on large rugs
Within our workshop, we can comfortably create rugs within a 3x3m size, but anything beyond will be at the discretion of Buzzard Binding. Please visit our showroom and discuss with our carpet edging specialists to see whether we can accommodate your needs. We refuse to compromise on quality and we reserve the right to refuse service
Alterations on previous rugs
We are willing to alter rugs and mats previously whipped and/or bound but this will incur a further charge to unstitch and redress the rug/mat/stair runner. Our team will discuss this with you before starting works.
Do you offer a pick up and drop off service?
We offer a pick up and drop off service within 15 miles of our Leighton Buzzard showroom for our trade customers on a weekly basis, we do not offer this service for the public unless discussed otherwise with our team.
Can you cut and shape a carpet to a unique shape?
Our team is trained to template and design to your needs, although it is in your best interests to come in to our Leighton Buzzard showroom to discuss with our expert team the options that would best suit you and the space you are trying to occupy with carpet and we can then measure and template at an additional charge.

Buzzard Binding is based within the showroom of Carpets and Flooring by John Wright, we have sampling of carpets across of a huge variety of designs. From man-mades to wools, herringbones, sisals, seagrasses. We are happy to help you match a carpet within our showroom to a carpet edging style you like.
